Virginia Turezyn

Managing Partner

Ms. Turezyn brings a multifaceted perspective and wealth of M&A expertise to SiVal, based on her experience in private equity / venture capital investment, corporate business development, and large-firm investment banking and accounting. Her prior work spans a diverse range of technology and services industries, including software / SaaS, B2C e-commerce, health care services, analytical testing, and manufacturing.

Virginia was most recently Managing Director at another Silicon Valley investment banking/M&A firm, where she executed sell-side transactions and advised entrepreneurs on team building, growth, and capital raising strategies.

Previously, she was Senior Vice President of Business Development andStrategy at EAG, Inc., a global leader in outsourced high-end services. She built the fastest growing and highly profitable division from the ground up via four pivotal acquisitions and assisted in integrating the business units. She was recruited by the CEO with whom she had worked previously at American Capital. At American Capital, Virginia was Managing Director and Co-Head of a new private technology initiative launched in Palo Alto, CA and Boston, MA. She built a bi-coastal team and spearheaded the Firm’s investments in various highly successful internet and media growth businesses including industry roll-ups and follow-on strategic acquisitions. 

Earlier, Virginia was a Managing Director/Principal at Constellation Ventures II, a digital media, internet, and communications focused fund. She assisted in restructuring and selling several businesses and made successful new investments in a challenging market environment.

In the mid 1990s, Virginia was a co-founder and partner in Information Technology Ventures (ITV) and a successor fund, Infinity Capital, raising over $400 million. Their first fund was one of CalPERS’ most successful venture funds in history. Prior experience includes 12 years at Morgan Stanley, in Venture and Finance, Planning and Administration. Virginia started her professional career at Ernst & Young and was a Senior Accountant and CPA for a diverse set of clients and industries.

Virginia has a B.A. in Accounting from Queens College and is a CPA emeritus in NY. Virginia has been named to the Forbes Midas List and has been recognized by Money Magazine as one of the Smartest Women in the Money Business.
